Natalie McDole, MD
Dr. Natalie McDole is known for her caring professionalism and personable communication with both medical professionals and patients. After completing medical school in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, Natalie received her anesthesia residency training in New York at Maimonides Medical Center.
After several years of providing hospital-based anesthesia care in Brooklyn and Queens, Dr. Natalie McDole was eager to provide anesthesia in a more personal and refined manner. She was determined to utilize her broad range of skills as an anesthesiologist to provide truly individualized care to her patients. These aspirations led her to the world of private, office-based surgery.
While providing anesthesia services in the office-based setting, Dr. Natalie McDole set out to create a better experience for surgeons, anesthesiologists, and patients by focusing on personalized care, safety, and efficiency. The culmination of her knowledge gained from inpatient and outpatient experiences helped to create the vision and foundation for Park Avenue Anesthesia.
Joel Waring, MD
After completing his anesthesiology residency at Maimonides Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, Dr. Joel Waring completed his fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Denver, University of Colorado. He returned to Maimonides where he worked for 9 years. During this time, Dr. Waring served as core faculty to the anesthesia residency program. He had an active role in education by conducting weekly board review, giving monthly lectures, and creating a high-fidelity simulation program.
Dr. Waring also served as Director of Trauma Anesthesia. Dr. Waring eventually left the medical center to join an office-based practice, which allowed him to spend more time with his wife and two sons. Dr. Waring was quickly recognized as the most trustworthy anesthesiologist. Because of his competence and calm-under-pressure nature, he would routinely be the first member of the group to provide anesthesia services at a newly acquired office.
At Park Avenue Anesthesia, Dr. Waring contributes his extensive experience, efficiency, and his ability to develop quick rapport with both patients and fellow medical professionals.
Daniel McDole, MD, MBA
Dr. Daniel McDole has over ten years of experience in delivering anesthesia to the highest profile office-based aesthetic and reconstructive practices in Manhattan. As a Partner in his former group, Dr. McDole was responsible for leading the specialized team that delivered perioperative care to the aesthetic and reconstructive office-based practices. He attended Vanderbilt University and the Indiana University School of Medicine. In addition, Dr. McDole earned his MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, where he double majored in entrepreneurial management and finance.
Dr. McDole’s unique background has given him a framework to analyze and improve every aspect of the patient care process. Dr. McDole is passionate about anesthesia and he seeks to deliver the perfect anesthetic every time.
Wilbert Jones, MD
Dr. Wilbert Jones took full advantage of an opportunity in high school to shadow a gastrointestinal doctor, and this pivotal experience ignited his passion for medicine and solidified his career path. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Morehouse College and was awarded a medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine.
After completing his anesthesia residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Dr. Jones accepted an attending position, and there, he capitalized on the opportunity to gain broad exposure to diverse cases and anesthesia settings. Although Maimonides provided a strong foundation for his career, Dr. Jones ultimately found that he preferred the patient-centered environment of office-based anesthesia, free from the administrative distractions in hospital settings and large group practices.
Dr. Jones brings over 17 years of experience and a deep appreciation for how office-based anesthesia enables him to leverage one of his greatest strengths—adaptability. He enjoys working closely with different surgeons and teams, and focusing on providing personalized care to each patient. Since joining the group, Dr. Jones has also embraced the opportunity to travel, explore the world beyond medicine, and spend more quality time with family and friends.
Paul Yazhemsky, MD
Dr. Paul Yazhemsky discovered a fascination with anesthesiology in high school, igniting a passion that would set him on a path to make it his lifelong career.
A New York native, he completed his medical education at the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, and his anesthesiology residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Yazhemsky later joined a thriving anesthesia practice at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital, where he ultimately became a partner. As he divided his time between hospital and private practices, Dr. Yazhemsky naturally gravitated to the dynamic and challenging nature of ambulatory and office-based anesthesia.
At Park Avenue Anesthesia, Dr. Yazhemsky customizes each anesthetic plan to meet the unique needs of every patient. He is committed to fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with surgeons and staff, while ensuring the best possible perioperative experience for his patients.
Reet Lawhon, MD
Dr. Reet Lawhon's Louisiana roots sparked an early passion for the sciences. During his college years, he earned multiple academic science awards, including the Outstanding Student Award in Biology and Agriculture.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in biology from Louisiana State University and his medical doctorate from Louisiana State University Medical Center. He then completed his internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, where he was awarded chief resident.
With 20 years of experience, Dr. Lawhon has administered anesthesia in diverse settings, from disaster relief centers in developing countries to academic level-one trauma centers. Throughout his career, he has embraced a broad range of responsibilities, consistently prioritizing personalized care for every patient.
